![]() What I really like is the Bang-bang chicken & shrimp. The marsala was good.I've tasted better marsala before though but this isn't that bad. We got chicken marsala and mushrooms and bang bang chicken & shrimp. in middle of the summer with jammed packed people. To my surprise we were called right away, say maybe 20 minutes or less. As soon as we approached the desk to have our seats, the lady told us the expected time frame would be about 30-45 minutes if we choose to stay outside overlooking the beautiful union square. And when me and my bf came here there were lots of people. ![]() I came to SF in the middle of the summer and going to a place like this, I would expect so many people. It was my friend's birthday so the waiters sung her happy birthday and gave her a free dessert as well. Our bread basket and drinks were refilled several times. The waiter was really attentive and checked up on us several times. The saving grace, however, was the service. I've had it in the past and it was much more flavorful. I would recommend their chicken marsala and mushrooms instead. A bunch of the penne was clumped together. There weren't any peppers or tomatoes in the dish. Unfortunately, the reality did not match the description. I had Evelyn's Favorite Pasta which is "penne pasta tossed with broccoli, oven-dried tomato, roasted eggplant, peppers, artichoke, kalamata olives, garlic and pine nuts", quoted verbatim from their menu. I would suggest arriving early to avoid the long wait (i.e. Unlike the past two times, we didn't have to wait at all for a table. Today was the third time that I've visited The Cheesecake Factory and it was an okay experience. ![]() I would urge everyone to try this at least once. I would've enjoyed it more if I wasn't so full.Ĭool place. The red velvet cheesecake was very good, except we were extremely full by the time we ate it. For those of you who have had Yakisboa, teriyaki flavor, it tastes exactly the same as the sauce they use. As for the chicken marsala, it tastes like something very familiar. They are crispy, and the inside is piping hot. The fried cheese tastes like mozzarella sticks, but more sophisticated. We only ordered one entree because we always get two and can barely finish half. The most recent time we went, we ordered the fried cheese, stuffed mushrooms, chicken marsala and mushrooms, and red velvet cheesecake. There are small bites, appetizers, soups, salads, main courses, specialty dishes, and of course cheesecake! Once your beeper starts to vibrate, head back inside, give it to the person at the front counter, and they will seat you shortly. But, if you go to the balcony, there is an amazing view. The only downside to this place is that there is always a long wait. Great service, good food, large portions, scrumptious cheesecake. I have been to several locations throughout California and this one is like the rest. The Cheesecake Factory is a very solid restaurant.
